the least entertaining mask...

masks vary but one mask i have grown to deeply despise is the one pseudo-intellectuals wear when socializing... i cannot think of any type of pretense that's lower

it's usual a very rational person, that emphasizes logic over emotion, and please point me towards a mask that is truly more arrogant, unwittingly making their stench even worse...those who think of themselves as intellectuals, and would like everyone to know it...why is it a lower mask worth despising? because these types tend to look down on others, thinking they are better than most others...the pseudo-intellectual definitely has a warped sense of self obsession best exemplified by those nights where no one else can shoot a word into a body armor suit of repeatitive regurgitation, you know that person, we have all listened or pretended to listen...(which is something else that i find quite baffling, the listening pretenders and their ass kissing agendas, this type of socializer i will address at some later point)

back to my specimen, these people (or people stuck in these phases) are potentially just as shallow as any other, half of them might play the quiet ponderer most days but in the the right venue acute observation shows they just want fame and/or recognition...there are so many countless pseudo-intellectuals swarming around vacuous internet forums to discuss worthless political issues (why don't we go volunteer instead, call me and i will go with you) if i were to judge people i'd say their ilk is a scourge upon humanity, blathering and blathering on and on about all kinds of boring shit...if you insist on putting this mask on tonight this week at dinner or next time you do too much blow do me a favor, first remember what i have said, secondly take a deep breath and lastly begin a conversation with people not at people, listen to the person in the room with knowledge to share on the subject, teach the person in the room who is attentively listening...

now if you are just an egoist be honest with yourself about it and don't mask that part of yourself...at least for me it's pretty boring because i cannot fathom any ass kissing on my agenda, not in the near future anyway...i don't think, maybe if you're buying drinks (to be continued)

i make impressions wherever i am...

"I AM VERY CAPABLE OF FORMING AND MAINTAINING RARE AND EXQUISITE FRIENDSHIPS, INASMUCH AS I GRASP SO HUNGRILY AT ANY ACQUAINTANCES THAT SUIT MY TASTE, I MAKE ADVANCES AND I THROW MYSELF AT THEM SO AVIDLY, THAT I HARDLY FAIL TO ATTACH AND TO MAKE AN IMPRESSION WHEREVER I LAND. I HAVE OFTEN MADE HAPPY PROOF OF THIS. IN ORDINARY FRIENDSHIPS I AM SOMEWHAT BARREN AND COOL, FOR MY PACE IS NOT NATURAL IF IT IS NOT UNDER FULL SAIL." -Montaigne

i have never found a writer that distills my brain any better than montaigne...despite how formal his writings are they are quite immediate, the effect on me...you know what i mean?

how many of you show a fraction of yourself or spend most of your time bluffing?...i cannot...if i decide i wanna get to know you i'm coming full on, why hold back?..life is too short ...i'm the one that will probably get too excited, i'll make one joke too many, i'll flash everybody at the wrong time, i'll randomnly wander alone to some new place or my favorite, to leave my world and completely invade someone else's...when was the last time you let someone in your world?
